MRT/ X-Ray Technologist 

Port Perry Imaging is seeking a part-time, MRT/ X-Ray Technologist.

Primary Duties

• Proficient in radiographic examinations and perform daily QC.
• Assesses and prioritizes workload.
• Follow clinic protocols and maintain CMRITO and IPAC standards.

Qualifications

• New Graduates are welcome.
• Current Registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO/CMRTO)
• Current BCLS certification
• Demonstrated experience in general radiology.
• Experience in BMD and mammo is an asset.
• Willingness to train in BMD

Skills & Abilities

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to work with patients independently and identify urgent medical indicators within the scope of practice and can alert the physician of urgent patient conditions that could affect treatment or examination.
• Computer skills; Microsoft Office, PACs, appropriate platforms, and reporting software
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment using excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize duties.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well with patients and team members.
• Demonstrates an understanding of ethical behaviours and confidentiality requirements in a health care institution.

Mammography Technologist

Ultrasound Sonographer – P/T  and F/T

Qualifications Include:

• Successful completion of a recognized Canadian Sonography Accredited Institution
• Active credential with Sonography Canada and/or ARDMS
• CMRTO (registration required by January 1, 2019)

We require sonographers that can perform at full competency in the following categories:

• Breast, Obstetrics (NT license preferable)
  *Breast and Obstetrics are a requirement however, experience in additional categories would be an asset

What You Bring:

• 2+ years experience performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations preferred
• Attention to detail, critical thinking and problem solving-solving skills
• The ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with all members of your healthcare team
• A focus on delivering quality and safe care to patients, clients, and their families
• Above average written and verbal communication skills
• Strong computer knowledge and software proficiency is required
• Experience with Velox is an asset
